I launched MyStupidRules.com from a coffee shop with free wireless internet in Carlsbad California on November 10th, 2007.
With a weekly unemployment check in hand, I found the time to learn html and I became a fixture at the Vinaka Cafe.
I picked up a few friends there, tow important ones were Greg and Dennis. They were great mentors in the learning process of building web-sites and quite a bit of interesting conversation on those days we didn't get anything done.

One day I was driving back home after surfing county line and stopped for a cup of coffee, newspaper and to check out the waves at Topanga or should I say Sunset?

Anyway, I found myself self locked up in UCLA Mental Hospital for smashing up my truck. It happened just twelve days before patent maintenance fees where due in September of 2000. I got out of the 72 hour evaluation early, but I did get a towing bill that the City of Malibu made thirty dollars off of. You would believe how many Officers where there that day. It didn't matter what I was going to say that day. It was a done deal and there wasn't a cop out of all of them that would let me walk away.

I was set to leave Las Vegas. I had the Caddy trunk stacked on top of the 80 incher.

Las Vegas sucked

That and a 31 ft. Airstream, quite a load for only 160 hp.
